Day 1 — From Putang Village into the Jungle
8:00 AM — Pick-up and departure
We pick you up from your accommodation in Senmonorom. Please be ready by 8 AM as we head to Putang Village, where your adventure begins.
Into the Forest
We leave the village and begin our trek through the jungle. After approximately one and a half hours of walking, we reach our first waterfall, where we can take a break, relax, and enjoy a refreshing swim if conditions permit.
Discover More Waterfalls
At approximately 10:30 AM, we continue our journey, crossing streams and following forest trails to discover more waterfalls and explore the surrounding natural environment.
Keep your eyes open and your ears alert. The forest is full of life, and your guide will help you notice the wildlife, plants, and details that are easy to miss when walking alone.
Afternoon at the Waterfall
Around 3:30 PM, we arrive at our second main waterfall, where we have time to relax, enjoy the water, and settle in for the night.
Depending on your chosen overnight option, you will either sleep in a hammock in the jungle or stay in a traditional house in Putang Village.
Day 2 — Deeper into the Jungle
7:30 AM — Breakfast
Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast before preparing for the second day.
8:30 AM — Back on the Trail
We set off again through the forest, looking for signs of wildlife, including monkeys and deer. Your guide will share knowledge of the local environment and help you explore the forest respectfully.
11:30 AM — Waterfall Lunch Break
We reach another waterfall, where we stop for lunch and enjoy time to relax, swim where conditions are safe, and take in the surrounding scenery.
2:00 PM — The Final Waterfall
Our trek continues towards the final waterfall of the journey before we begin making our way back to Putang Village.
4:00 PM — Return to Putang Village
We finish our adventure in the village, followed by transport back to Senmonorom.
Choose Your Overnight Experience
Spend the night surrounded by nature, sleeping in a hammock in the forest. This option is ideal for travellers who want a more immersive outdoor experience.
Option 2: Homestay in Putang Village
Stay overnight in a traditional village house and experience a different side of the journey. A homestay offers an opportunity to learn more about local life and spend time in the community.

Our treks are organised in collaboration with local Bunong guides who know the forest and its surroundings. We believe their knowledge and experience are an essential part of the journey.
We encourage visitors to respect wildlife, avoid disturbing animals, leave the forest as they found it, and approach local traditions with curiosity and consideration.
By travelling with a local guide, you also contribute to opportunities for the people who call this region home.
